Hello, I’m Christopher Aylward, a Canadian Filmmaker based out of the Niagara Region, in Ontario, Canada. I’m often asked what drives me, what keeps me motivated. Simply put, I love to create. Whether behind the lens of a camera, at the controls of a drone, or at the workstation during post-production,
I love and enjoy every aspect in bringing visuals to life.

I also enjoy meeting new people, and would love to sit down and discuss your project with you. I have the talent, tools, and resources to bring your project to life. I’m a hardworking, creative individual who is very passionate about everything I do. I believe that to be successful, you must first “fall in love” with your work.
From start to finish, it’s all about enjoying the process, the journey.

What type of projects do you work on?

Whether personal or professional, small business to corporate events, I have experience and love to learn more. I’d love to discuss your project and how I can help.

What do you edit on?
• While I primarily edit using Final Cut Pro (Mac), I have experience with Premier Pro, Avid, DaVinci Resolve, and other NLE’s.
• Motion, Compressor, Logic Pro, Darktable, RawTherapee, Lightroom, Photoshop, and more.

What do you shoot with?
Here’s a short list of some of the gear I use:

Cameras:
• Canon EOS C80 Cinema Camera
• Canon EOS C100 Mark II Cinema Camera
• Canon Mirrorless M50 (Mainly for personal stills)
• DJI Osmo Pocket 3
• Various lenses, audio recorders, etc.

Aerial Drones:
• DJI Inspire 1 V2
• DJI Mavic 3
• DJI FPV

Please note: As a fully trained and registered drone pilot, I fly within the rules and regulations laid out by Transport Canada. Should your project require me to fly outside these rules and regulations, I will have to seek a Special Flight Operations Certificate (SFOC) prior to shooting.

This can be discussed during our initial meeting.

What are your rates?
Rates are determined by the requirements of the client and depth of the project.

Current Estimated Rates:
$350/day for a full day. (8 hours)
$200/day for a half day. (4 hours)
$150/day for editing services. (8 hours)
$60/hr. for overtime above 8 hours.

*I do not charge hourly rates, except in the aforementioned situation where a shoot needs to go beyond 8 hours on a full day contract.
